Red Sox select 17 players on final day of 2025 MLB First-Year Player Draft

BOSTON, MA — The Boston Red Sox today concluded their participation in the 2025 MLB First-Year Player Draft with 17 additional selections in rounds 4-20.

Over the two days of the draft, Boston selected 10 right-handed pitchers, five left-handed pitchers, three shortstops, two outfielders, and one third baseman. Of the 21 players drafted, 20 are from college and one is from high school.
