White Sox make two roster moves

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Prior to today’s spring training game vs. Arizona, the Chicago White Sox made the following two roster moves:

• Optioned to Class AAA Charlotte (1): RHP Gus Varland;
• Released (1): INF Brandon Drury.

With the moves, the White Sox have 39 players remaining in camp: 19 pitchers, three catchers, 11 infielders and six outfielders.
