This Weekend at Citizens Bank Park: Phillies vs. Dodgers, April 4-6
The first homestand of the 2025 season continues with a three-game weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights at Citizens Bank Park:
1. New for the 2025 season: the Third and Left Field Gates open earlier every game!
- Monday thru Friday fans can enter the ballpark two hours before the first pitch. On weekends, they’ll get access 2 ½ hours prior to the game.
- During this time, the main concourse will be open from Pass and Stow all the way through Ashburn Alley to the Yard, giving our fans even more access to what the award-winning Citizens Bank Park has to offer!
2. The series kicks off with a Lights Up // Friday Night at the Bank and the season’s first City Connect uniform wear on Friday, April 4, at 6:45 p.m. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 4:45 p.m.; all other gates 5:15 p.m.
- Before the game, International Boxing Federation welterweight champion Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
- Other highlights include Autism Awareness Night and Peanut Reduced Suites, with Theme Night tickets required for each event.
3. On Saturday, April 5, at 4:05 p.m., it’s Cavity Busters Kids Opening Day! All children 14 and under will receive a knit hat. Plus, be on the lookout for prizes and surprises for a few lucky kids, courtesy of Cavity Busters. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 1:35 p.m.; all other gates 2:35 p.m.
- Youngsters will be taking over the ballpark! Kids will be taking part in pregame and in-game activities, including being an honorary lineup announcer and DJ, changing the bases and more.
- Before the game, fans can enjoy the Budweiser Block Party with DJ HBK at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar behind section 148.
4. On Sunday, April 6, all fans will receive a 2025 Schedule Magnet presented by Ace Hardware Home Services, before that day’s 1:35 p.m. game. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 11:05 a.m.; all other gates 12:05 p.m.
- Before the game, legendary Big 5 basketball coach Fran Dunphy, who recently announced his retirement from coaching, will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
- Fans can enjoy complimentary face painting at The Yard before and during the game.
5. Stop by the New Era Phillies Team Store to get some special matchup items to commemorate the heavy-hitting Phillies-Dodgers series.
- Highlights include a limited edition can cooler, pennant, baseball and pin featuring Bryce Harper and Shohei Ohtani with dueling logos.
6. Check out what’s new in food, fan gear and the gameday experience this season.
7. Bid on the Phillies Charities Online Auction until 6:00 p.m. on April 30, at phillies.com/auctions.
