Texas Rangers Homestand Information for September 5-10, 2025

Arlington, Texas — The Texas Rangers (72-69) are set to face their in-state rivals, the Houston Astros (September 5-7), and the National League-leading Milwaukee Brewers (September 8-10) during a six-game homestand at Globe Life Field beginning tomorrow night.

The Rangers have gone 4-3 in seven games against the Astros this season, needing to win at least three of the teams’ final six scheduled meetings in 2025 to claim a victory in the Lone Star Series for the first time since 2016 (Texas went 15-4 vs. Houston).

The Rangers-Astros contest on Saturday, September 6 will be televised nationally on FOX and is slated to begin at 6:15 p.m. CT. Former Texas pitcher (2015-18) and four-time Major League All-Star selection Cole Hamels will be on hand Saturday to sign autographs for fans at the New Era Alumni Alley located in the Northwest corner of the ballpark behind Section 103 beginning at 4:30 p.m. (will sign for first 225 fans).

On Sunday, September 7, fans will be encouraged to join Rangers players and staff during a special in-game ceremony to support Stand Up To Cancer ® (SU2C), a groundbreaking initiative created to accelerate innovative cancer research that brings new therapies to patients quickly. Additionally, proceeds from Sunday’s Texas 2 Split 50/50 Raffle presented by Shift4 will benefit Stand Up To Cancer.

Since its inception, SU2C research has contributed to the development of nine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approvals for new cancer therapies. Major League Baseball and its 30 Clubs have donated more than $50 million to SU2C since the collaboration began in 2009.

Sunday’s series finale against Houston will also feature a ceremonial first pitch thrown by YouTube creator, Austin Kleschka, who fans may also know as ‘Spidey’ from the popular YouTube channel, dodgerfilms.

Next week’s three-game set against the Brewers will be highlighted by Mariachi Monday presented by T-Mobile, a Joc Pederson Replica Jersey giveaway presented by Medical City Healthcare on Tuesday, and Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dog Day on Wednesday.

I-30 CLOSURE UPDATE: The Rangers would like to alert fans to a scheduled road closure which will likely impact those attending the club's weekend series at Globe Life Field against the Houston Astros.
