Opening Week at Citizens Bank Park: Phillies vs. Rockies, April 2-3
Phillies baseball is back! Opening Week continues with two more games against the Colorado Rockies, April 2-3. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights:
1. Starting with this series and continuing throughout the 2025 season, the Third and Left Field Gates will open earlier every game, giving our fans even more access to what the award-winning Citizens Bank Park has to offer.
- Monday thru Friday fans can enter the ballpark two hours before the first pitch. On weekends, they’ll get access 2 ½ hours prior to the game.
- During this time, the main concourse will be open from Pass and Stow all the way through Ashburn Alley to the Yard.
2. All fans 15 and over will receive a McDonald’s Opening Night T-Shirt on April 2, at the 6:45 p.m. game. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 4:45 p.m.; all other gates 5:15 p.m.
- Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper will be presented with his 2024 Silver Slugger award prior to the game. The Silver Slugger recognizes the best offensive player at each position in each league. The winners are voted upon by major league managers and coaches.
3. Thursday, April 3, is the first Citizens Businessperson’s Special of the season at 1:05 p.m. It’s also the return of School Spirit Day; students are encouraged to be creative in showing their school spirit and Phillies fandom. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 11:05 a.m.; all other gates 11:35 a.m.
- Fans attending the game can catch The Phillies Show podcast presented by Citizens live at 12:15 p.m. inside the Third Base Gate.
- Be on the lookout for a ceremonial first pitch by Mo’ne Davis, on behalf of Girls on the Run. Davis was the first girl to earn a win and throw a shutout in Little League World Series history in 2014.
- Plus, Tom Cooke, the winner of the Phillies Charities 5K presented by Fox Chase Cancer Center (with a time of 15:03), will be honored on-field before the game.
4. Check out what’s new in food, fan gear and the gameday experience this season.
- Highlights include the latest enhancements in technology including new LED ring displays and the Xfinity Home Run Takeover.
- Plus, tasty new concessions and brand-new partner offerings including by 2008 World Series champion Ryan Howard, former NFL star and podcast host Jason Kelce, and actor and producer Rob McElhenney, who is also co-owner of Wrexham AFC.

5. Bid on the Phillies Charities Online Auction until 6:00 p.m. on April 30, at phillies.com/auctions.
- Features signed memorabilia from players including Bryce Harper, Aaron Nola, J.T. Realmuto, Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, Zack Wheeler and more.
