D-backs roster moves

The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to terms with LHP Jalen Beeks on a 1-year contract. To make room on the 40-man roster, LHP Jordan Montgomery was placed on the 60-day injured list (sprained left ulnar collateral ligament).

• Made 3 appearances with the Astros this Spring after being signed as a Minor League free agent on March 10.
• In 2024, went 7-4 with 10 saves and a 4.50 ERA (35 ER in 70.0 IP) in 71 games between the Rockies and Pirates…set career highs in games, wins and saves.
• In 2024, limited left-handed hitters to an opponent .202 AVG (19-for-94) and 5 extra-base hits.
• Missed the entire 2021 season recovering from Tommy John surgery, performed on Sept. 2, 2020.
• Has made 6 consecutive Opening Day rosters since 2018 with the Red Sox, Rays and Rockies (missed entire 2021 season).
• In his career, has gone 23-15 with 15 saves and a 4.40 ERA (170 ER in 347.2 IP) in 202 games (19 starts) over 6 seasons with the Pirates (2024), Rockies (2024), Rays (2018-23) and Red Sox (2018).
