The Diamondbacks will honor the life and legacy of Jackie Robinson on April 22 with a special pregame celebration, including a recognition of The Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year and JR42 Jr. RBI Outreach Clinic, a performance by The Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, and a ceremonial first pitch by Gizette Knight of Shining Light Foundation. NASCAR Track President Latasha Causey will serve as the Honorary Captain.
Wednesday, April 23 @ 6:40 p.m. vs. Tampa Bay Rays: D-backs’ Earth Day
The Diamondbacks will highlight their partners and sustainability initiatives during the team’s Earth Day on April 23, including a recognition of the D-backs first-of-its-kind reusable cup program with Bold Reuse, the Break a Bat, Plant a Tree program in partnership with Budweiser and local nonprofit Growing to Give, who will distribute biodegradable kits during the game. Fans can also enjoy eco-friendly activities in the Sandlot, a recycling trivia challenge and more.

In celebration of World Wish Day, the Diamondbacks will welcome more than 500 Make-A-Wish children, family, alumni and wish granters on April 24. Pregame festivities include a Make-A-Wish first pitch, honorary captain and on-field recognitions.

Over 1,000 fans will roll out their mats for a yoga session in the outfield early Sunday morning for the team’s sold-out Yoga on the Field presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona.
