Colorado's Veras suspended
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Colorado Rockies Minor League pitcher Erick Veras, who is currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Rockies, has received a 56-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Boldenone, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Drug Prevention and Treatment Program for Minor League Players Assigned Outside of the United States and Canada.
The suspension of Veras is effective immediately.
