Dodgers Recall Ryan Loutos
DODGERS RECALL RYAN LOUTOS
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Ryan Loutos and optioned left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski.
Loutos, 26, was acquired on May 1 from the St. Louis Cardinals for cash considerations. He made his Major League debut in 2024, appearing in three games without allowing a run. He made three appearances for Triple-A Oklahoma City, tossing 3.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts. Over five minor league seasons, he owns a 4.75 ERA with 249 strikeouts in 223.2 innings. He was an undrafted free agent signed by the Cardinals in 2021.
Wrobleski, 24, tossed four innings last night, recording the win. He has appeared in two games this year, posting an 8.00 ERA with eight strikeouts in nine innings. He made his Major League debut in 2024, and he is 2-3 with a 6.15 ERA in 45.1 innings. The southpaw is 12-12 with a 3.38 ERA in 64 minor league games. He was drafted by the Dodgers in the 11th round of the 2021 First Year Player Draft out of Oklahoma State University.
