Dodgers Recall J.P. Feyereisen

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher J.P. Feyereisen and placed right-handed pitcher Roki Sasaki on the injured list with right shoulder impingement.

Feyereisen, 32, made one appearance in his first stint with the Dodgers, suffering the loss after allowing two hits and one walk. He is in his second stint with the Dodgers organization, and he is 0-2 with an 8.18 ERA in 11 games as a Dodger. He is in his fifth Major League season overall, having spent time with the Milwaukee Brewers (2020-21), Tampa Bay Rays (2021-22), Dodgers (2024-) and Diamondbacks (2025) and has a 3.07 ERA in 96 games. The Wisconsin native was drafted in 2014 by the Cleveland Guardians in the 16th round out of Wisconsin-Stevens Point University.

Sasaki, 23, is 1-1 with a 4.72 ERA in eight starts this season. He has struck out 24 in 34.1 innings while holding hitters to a .225 batting average. He joined the Dodgers on January 22 after spending the last four seasons with the Chiba Lotte Marines of the Nippon Professional Baseball league. The right-hander went 10-5 with a 2.35 ERA in 111 innings last year for the Marines. He struck out 129 batters against 32 walks while posting a 1.036 WHIP. He went 30-15 with a 2.02 ERA in four seasons with the Chiba Lotte Marines. He struck out 524 batters in 414.2 innings with three complete games. He has posted a 0.883 WHIP in 69 career games.
