The weather is beginning to heat up all across the Minor Leagues, and the stat lines just keep simmering. On Sunday, one speed demon pulled off a rare feat on the basepaths, some of the Minors' hottest sluggers went deep, and several starters dominated on the mound. Here are the top performers from across MiLB:
Jurrangelo Cjintje, RHP/LHP (SEA No. 8/MLB No. 92)
Although the switch-pitcher's start was pushed back a day due to Saturday's postponement, Cjintje enjoyed his strongest outing of the season at High-A. Pitching predominately right-handed, The Mariners' 2024 first-rounder took a no-hit bid into the sixth inning and finished up with six scoreless innings of one-hit ball. Cjintje hit two batters and walked two more, but also struck out five and set a career high in innings pitched during a start. Full story | Gameday

Carson Benge, OF, Brooklyn (NYM No. 3/MLB No. 89)
Benge homered, reached base four times and drove in four runs and that was all before he scored the walk-off run in High-A Brooklyn's extra-inning victory. New York's first-round pick in 2024 has been in the middle of a successful stretch in his first full pro season. He's hitting .309 with a .919 OPS, four homers, 25 RBIs and 23 walks in 32 games. Daniel Susac, C, Las Vegas (ATH No. 11)
Susac set a career high with six RBIs in a monster performance at Triple-A, homering twice and scoring three runs in a three-hit performance. Susac launched a three-run homer in the second and added a two-run homer in the eighth, squeezing an RBI double in between during his banner day. The 2022 first-round pick is performing well for Las Vegas, hitting .298 with a .926 OPS in the offensively friendly Pacific Coast League. Gameday

Kendall George, CF, Great Lakes (LAD No. 13)
George ran wild -- and we mean wild. The speedy outfielder stole a career-high six bases at High-A on a day in which he also collected two hits, walked twice and scored two runs out of the leadoff spot. George was the fifth Minor League player to steal at least six bases in a game since 2015 (no Major Leaguer has done it since 2009). It's happened one other time in the Minors this year when Emaarion Boyd (Marlins) swiped six bases on April 9. Full story | Gameday

Colt Emerson, SS, Everett (SEA No. 1/MLB No. 19)
Good things came in threes for Emerson in the second game of a doubleheader. He clubbed a three-run long ball -- his third homer of the season -- to cap a three-hit game, his second of the year at High-A and first since April 5. The Mariners’ 2023 first-rounder also scored two more times for the AquaSox after tallying one hit in the first game of the double dip. Gameday

Mike Sirota, OF, Great Lakes (LAD No. 19)
Sirota has been on a tear at High-A lately. During a three-hit afternoon, he homered for the fifth time in the past five games, amassing 12 RBIs over the course of those contests. The 21-year-old slugger acquired in the Gavin Lux deal has simply been one of the Minors' best players in May, slashing .455/.568/.932 with six homers and 17 RBIs in 11 games this month. Gameday

Joseph Sullivan, OF, Asheville (HOU No. 11)
The 22-year-old outfielder put together his second career multihomer game (and second this season) to continue adding to one of the more extreme albeit productive stat lines in the Minors. Through 36 games at High-A, Sullivan is hitting only .233 but has 10 homers, 20 RBIs, 37 walks and a .985 OPS. He leads the South Atlantic League in walks and ranks second in homers. Gameday

Tyler Locklear, 1B, Tacoma (SEA No. 11)
Back at Triple-A to start the 2025 season, Locklear has been racking up hits in bunches. The 24-year-old logged his third four-hit performance of the season, tallying four singles and two RBIs for Rainiers. The first baseman has collected seven hits in five games with Tacoma, boosting his average to .298 as he continues his pursuit of rejoining the Mariners. Gameday

Connelly Early, LHP, Portland (BOS No. 9)
A fifth-round pick out of Virginia in 2023, Early is putting it together at Double-A. The southpaw struck out eight across 5 1/3 scoreless innings, the most of any ranked left-hander in the Minors on the day. Both starting and piggybacking for the Sea Dogs, he has been impressive in any role with a 1.88 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 24 innings across six appearances. Gameday

Andrew Morris, RHP, St. Paul (MIN No. 9)
The 23-year-old was very effective for Triple-A St. Paul, striking out eight while scattering four hits and a walk across five scoreless innings. It was the fifth time in eight starts this season that the Twins' 2022 fourth-rounder did not allow a run in his outing. Gameday
