MIAMI -- Dodgers right fielder Teoscar Hernández exited Monday's 7-4 win over the Marlins with left hamstring tightness. He's set to undergo an MRI on Tuesday in order to determine next steps.

"He’s a guy that just doesn’t come out of games by way of injury," manager Dave Roberts said. "That’s a little concerning given the person."

The Dodgers are planning on adding a player to the taxi squad in case Hernández ends up needing a stint on the injured list, Roberts said. The team hadn't decided on who that player would be as of Monday night.

Per Roberts, Hernández first felt tightness in his hamstring and adductor in the bottom of the third, when he broke for a ball in the right-center-field gap. There was no visual indication at the time that anything was wrong, but Hernández was replaced in right field when the Dodgers came back out for the bottom of the fourth.

Hernández went 2-for-2 with an RBI before being removed from Monday's game. He's hitting .315 with a .933 OPS and has driven in an MLB-leading 34 runs.
