Trade Deadline recap: Who got traded, who didn't?
The 2025 MLB Trade Deadline was July 31 at 6 p.m. ET.
July 31: Tracking Deadline deals
The 2025 Trade Deadline has passed, and Mason Miller, Carlos Correa, Eugenio Suárez, Jhoan Duran and David Bednar were among the biggest names dealt. You can find all of the notable trades made leading up to Thursday's Deadline right here.
July 31: Who were the most active buyers?
Padres general manager A.J. Preller burnished his reputation as one of MLB’s most aggressive executives on Trade Deadline day, making deals with the A’s (Mason Miller and JP Sears), Orioles (Ryan O’Hearn and Ramon Laureano), Brewers (Nestor Cortes) and Royals (Freddy Fermin) to address all of the Padres’ needs.
The Mariners were one of the big winners of this Trade Deadline, landing two of the biggest bats on the market -- third baseman Eugenio Suárez and first baseman Josh Naylor -- in separate deals with the D-backs. However, the Astros kept pace with their AL West rivals by reuniting with Carlos Correa and picking up a lefty bat in Jesús Sánchez.
The Mets were active on the bullpen front, acquiring Ryan Helsley, Tyler Rogers and Gregory Soto, and they also upgraded in center field with a trade for Cedric Mullins. Not to be outdone, the Phillies picked up closer Jhoan Duran and outfielder Harrison Bader in a pair of trades with the Twins.
The Yankees also added a trio of relievers in David Bednar, Camilo Doval and Jake Bird hours before the Deadline. New York previously landed a trio of position players in trades with the Rockies (Ryan McMahon), Nationals (Amed Rosario) and White Sox (Austin Slater).
