Players with the most home runs against each team

On May 6, Freddie Freeman hit his 42nd home run against Marlins pitching, passing two other longtime Marlins division rivals, Ryan Howard and Ryan Zimmerman, for the most home runs against them in their history.
Due to expansion and the end of the unbalanced schedule, most players who currently hold such a record are unlikely ever to have it challenged. In fact, Freeman is now one of just two active players to hold an all-time record for most home runs against a single team -- the other being Mike Trout, who holds the record against the Mariners.
Here now are the home run leaders against each active franchise -- the all-timers and their active counterparts.
Active totals updated through May 6, 2025.
